Default GMT900 power consumptions

My battery was giving me grief recently and I discovered what I believe to be the root cause, corrosion on underside of the positive battery terminal...

In my troubleshooting I also discovered that the current draw in accessory mode is about 5 amps! and key on no crank about 6.5 amps...
With engine running and AC on the current draw was near 50 amps....

A cleaning of the post and terminal cleared up my perceived dead battery, and starting issues...

A convenient place to charge your battery and to also do a "Keep Alive" of the vehicle systems with the battery disconnected or removed...

Do keep in mind that the positive side of the battery terminal is live in this condition unless removed from the mega-fuse connection...
