Good Setup For My Hoe
I Have A 96 Chevy Tahoe LT 4dr, And I Was Looking Into Doing An Intake/Header/Exhaust Setup. This Is What I Want To Do: K&N Cold Air Intake System, Dynomax Shorty Headers, Custom Downpipes (No Cats. All Str8 Pipes), With The Dynomax Intermediate Pipe, And The Dynomax Super Turbo Cat-Back Exhaust. But See The Thing Is, I'm Not Gonna Use The Turbo Muffler That Comes With The Cat-Back, I Was Gonna Swap It Out With A Dynomax Race Bullet Muffler For A Loud Loud Sound. Just Tryin Ta Be Different, Cause Everybody And Their Mama Has A Flowmaster. I'm Tryin To Make My Truck Loud Too, HeHe. No Quiet **** Here, Just Pure Sound!!...Anyways, What Do You Guys Think Of This Setup?? Is It Good Enough?? Is It Gonna Be "LOUD" Enough?? Hit Me Up Whenever And Let Me Know. Later...

The K&N, and headers sound great, but running no cats [sm=nono.gif]. The muffler will be loud yes, but why do you want a loud annoying muffler? For the sake of being different or just annoying? Everyone and their momma has a flow because they sound good, not loud and crappy. If your just gonna put a race muffler like the bullet on it, then why not just run no muffler, that sounds crappy, loud and annoying too, your already gonna run no cat, not like your getting an inspection sticker either way.
I've Been On YouTube And Heard Videos Of Dynomax Bullets & Flowmaster Super 44's With (No Cats) And Long Tube Headers With H-Pipes & X-Pipes & **** Like that, And They Sound Pretty Damn Good lol. Plus Dynomax Bullets Arn't Loud & Crappy They Make Nice Loud/Deep Sounds, So That's Why I Wanted To Do That Muffler...It's A FULL CAT-BACK EXHAUST That I'm Doing, And Already Bent Out & Everything. I'm Just Replacing The Turbo Muffler That Comes With That Exhaust With The Dynomax Bullet, Which Probobly Wouldn't Be Any Different From A Flowmaster Super 44. I Don't Think It's Gonna Be All That Bad...
I agree with rabbit. For a street truck that's just to loud, also that might be just to much of a free flow exhaust setup. all the air going out but not going in that fast. I would go headers no cats and a two-chamber mufflers. (flowmaster 40's) or a differant brand.
I used have race headers on my last car...it smelled like a go kart. The smell alone might warrant a ticket, let alone how much louder the car gets without a cat. I got lucky though, I drove around for about 5 months with no cat and never got pulled over. But I've heard stories of people who have...and the hassle of having to swap out the headers with the stock ones again when it's time to do emissions is a pain.

That depends on what you want and I like it, really detailed descriptions on what you really want. Can i add some Ansa connecting pipe? That's cool too. And may I ask, are those brand really go along together?
Looking to go with a y-pipe and a single dynomax bullet with a turn down pointing out at an angle right at the muffler. North West Florida has no emissions or inspections. Police don't give a crap either. I've had this same set up in the past and its actually not that loud. It's loud and scary if your a lil baby backed bi..
