Grease On Control Arms Under CV Boot Squeaky Noise
i recently took off the driver side front tire to inspect for a squeak. the squeak only happens at low speed usually when i'm turning. So i figured i'd grab the grease gun and grease what i can. i only noticed one grease point in the outer tie rod. does anyone know if there are any more (i'm sure there is). then i noticed a pile of grey grease sitting on the control arm right under the cv boot. it was cold out so i didn't spend too much time inspecting. i don't know much about axles other than they spin the wheels. is this bad? should i get a rebuild kit or just swap out the cv joint?
