Default Grills

Bear with me please as I don't have time to do a search and go through countless threads right now. Im sure this has been talked about a lot but Im trying to get an idea of what people like better-The overlay grill or the full replacement. Im looking at an over-lay but really not sure about it. Can anyone give me some links from the places you bought your grills from. My tahoe is a greystone so I have a hard time finding grills that I think look good on that color.

Thanks in advance,

Jason

Got my billet overlay at autopartsgallery on ebay. Was cheap but still shiny after almost a year and a tough KC winter.

Thanks everyone. Im still trying to decide which one i want to buy. Am I correct in saying that most of your seem to like the overlay better than completely replacing the grill??

1) Mine is the polished Stainless Steel. Very shiney = making chrome useless in my neck of the woods (rust)

2) I painted my bowtie and rear wiper arm.

I got mine off ebay and I cut out the factory grill so you can't see the mesh. It is a bolt over, but honestly if you're going to get a bolt over grill reconsider and get a grill shell.

Check this post on the wifes grille: https://chevroletforum.com/m_29142/tm.htm
It is actually an overlay that hides the factory mesh great but I wanted it to sit a little futher back so we cut it out and pushed it back. I love the quality and shine of this grille.
