Default Heated Seats

If any Tahoe owner is experiencing heated seat problems where the seats will go on, then shut off after about 15 seconds, look under both the seats from the back for a wiring harness. On the drivers seat its on the left and the right for the passenger, both are on a small metal plate. Follow the wires along the seat track to make sure they are not wedged in the track and pinched off. Mine were acutally frayed in several spots on the drivers seat and when the seat moved up and back from the easy exit feature, or when it wasreadjusted between myself and my wife, it would short out, but wouldn't blow either the fuses or circuit breakers other people described inthis site. One of the wires was frayed so bad I had to snip both sides at the module and splice the connection together with a solderless terminal. Once this was done, everything worked great.Good luck.....
