Help: Suburban non-functioning fuel gauge and P2066 OBD error
I very recently (2 days ago) purchased a 2008 2500 model with 69K miles. Fuel tank was full and gauge/miles to empty all appeared normal on 300+ mile drive home.
Next day when I started it, gauge was basically at completely empty. I put in 10 gallons, restarted truck, and showed about 1/3 tank on the gauge. 10 minutes later, stop/restart truck, and gauge back to zero, where it has remained since.
Later in day, check engine came on, and scanner shows 4 instances of same code, P2066 which maps to Fuel Level Sensor B.
I assume these two issues are related, but I haven't found anything online that points to what the problem is. Do I have a failed fuel level sensor in the tank, or do I have a wiring problem?
Anyone out there with experience with this I'd appreciate some insights.

hello, I’m having very similar issue. Also my truck is dying on me while driving. Replaced the fuel pump and a few other small things but out of no where the fuel gauge shows empty. Did you make any progress with your situation?
