Default Help with transmission

Hi all, first time poster here. I am hoping you guys can help me with my transmission issue. The vehicle is an 06 Tahoe and once in a while when you go to start it it mysteriously switches from 2wd to 4wd low. It will not react to pushing the 2wd button on the dash. You have to shut it down and restart it. Usually it will go back to 2wd and be ok for a while. Any ideas what could be causing this? I did search the forum but couldn’t find anything.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

It may be a switch issue. That is just a suggestion, not a diagnosis. I encourage you to have the vehicle inspected by a certified technician for an official diagnosis and repair option(s).

Please keep us posted.
