Default Horn issue???

My 2009 Tahoe's horn has gone from sounding nice and strong to now sounding like a baby! It sounds like a VW rather than a big SUV. My 2000 Tahoe actually did the same thing! Does anyone know what could be causing this? Sounds like one of the horns has died. Solutions?

Thanks!!!

Check the connections and make sure its grounded, also check to see if mud daubers have built a nest in the horns horn....

It has 2 horns 1 on left side one on the right make sure the are both working. Battery voltage is present at both horns all the time. When the horn is needed ground is added to the circuit. Use a test light to see what is missing.

If you don't want to work on it yourself you could also have the vehicle checked out by the dealership as well. They would be able to check the vehicle over and fix the issue you are having now and make sure more aren't around the corner. I hope all of the suggestions made help you!
