I'm trying to install a set of wolo air horns in my 2012 suburban. I know the horns are under the headlights behind the bumper. I pulled the screws on the inner wheel well and there is now way to get to them without taking the bumper off and I'm not doing that. Where can I find the horn wire under the dash to jump off of.

I think you only need to remove the headlamp assembly to gain access to the horn... I would use caution probing under the dash for horn power as most all items are controlled by the Body Control Module,that is all data signals and not power, you risk blowing the module if you short something out... I would try and follow the horn wiring back to where it might be more accessible...
Be careful of how you wire it in so that the air compressor for the horns don't induce electric noise back into the system..( use a relay to the battery to power the compressor)

Post a video of how they sound once you get it all put it... my daughter keeps telling me she wants train horns on her Cobalt!

 

I'm not pulling the headlight either. Trying to do this as easy as possible. I do t want to have to worry about realigning anything.

 

Access can be a bit of work... the headlamps do not require any alignment when removing and re-installing as they have alignment tabs on the housing... PnP

Thanks. I will try taking the headlight out then. I was worried it was gonna be messed up after it was removed and would have to be adjusted.
