Body guys, I need your help! How do I get up between the rear quarter panel sheet metal? I've investigated everything; removal of the wheel liner, tail light, jack storage area. I can't find access to it. Here's the story, I need to bolt an antenna mount which I use for my amateur radio operations to the rear quarter panel's outer sheet metal. There's a backer plate to stiffen the sheet metal around the mount, andt to bolt it in place, I need to be able to get behind the outer skin. Any ideas? I have a lot invested it this project, and didn't expect I couldn't do what I want to do.

 

if you cant gain access from the tail light area ,or the fuel filler area you might have to cut a round access hole from the jack area and screw or rivet a cover plate over the hole.

 

Might check w/ a dealer's body shop and see if they can shed any light.
