Why not go to the dealer and ask them if you could try one of their map DVDs in your radio. It could just be a bad disk...

In regards to those who havehad a problem with voice recognition. Mine was terrible, would only get my commands 1 out of 15 times that I tried. I pull the radio again andgiggled the wires on the 2 pin connectors , form JP Customs, that go into the C1 connector. I had a terrible time getting those little suckers in anyway. After giggling the wires, the voice command worked flawless.I taped the2 wires tight around the other wires in the harness and put the radio back in. Now both my wife and I can get every command to work the first time we say it. Just thought this might be something for you guys who are having problems to maybe check.

ORIGINAL: biglg

You are using a back up disc of your own "original" dvd map disc, RIGHT?

I have no idea, just had to put that out there!
I have the orignal nav DVD... Would anyone be willing to hook a brother up witha "backup copy"
of the new Data Disc 15934919u? Happy to supply media andor postage...[8D]

Thanks guys,

Matt

Allright I am completely confused, I have a 2007 Denali, brand spanking new, my Nav is on the way, no Rear Seat DVD so I need GM Part number ending in 103 as far as the head unit, I also have the Nav Antenna and MAP CD...Where can I get the JP Custom Connectors and can someone give me the part numbers, I just want to ensure I have everything before I start tearing apart the new car, thanks again in advance, the information would be greatly appreciated!

Here is their website http://www.jpcustoms.com/store/customer/home.php the part is not listed there. Talk to Brian and tell him what you are doing and he knows which part you need. If you have the Onstar be sure to tell him you need that connector also. Their phone number is 281-533-9900
