Default I can't figure this out!

My wife and I just bought a 1992 Suburban to replace the 03 she totaled just before Christmas. I am getting it ready to hit the road, and I want to replace the factory stereo. It is the type that has the EQ and tape deck in the center, and the rest of the controls by the heater/AC controls. I bought a wireing adapter for my aftermarket and got it nicely done, and when I pulled the factory unit from the dash I can't see where it umplugs. It looks like it is hardwired! Does anybody have any good advice?

You might try, the12volt.com, site. They give the wiring breakdown on your stereo system. Tells the color of the wire and what it is for. They also have forums, where you can ask questions. I'm not a stereo person. Some of the others may be more helpful.
