Default Ideas on monitors and dvd player for 07 tahoe

I just got out of the jeep community and into a 07 tahoe LT because of adding a new child to the brood. I just wanted to hear some ideas on the best way to go about adding a couple of monitors to the headrests or a drop down and a dvd player. I have the rear heat console i guess in the center of the roof right where i would assume a dropdown tv would go. but never having done anything like this i was wondering what the best and coolest way of doing it would be.

ours has the stock one but if not I would put 2 in the headrests - there are tons of places that can do that.

They do sell a mount designed to work with the heat controls on the roof. It is made by Audiovox however it is very expensive $500-700 for just the mount then you must buy one of 2 specific monitors that work with it . Both monitors already have DVD players built in. I would buy a pair of headrest monitor for less than $250 for both, then buy a nice double din in dash head unit that plays DVD and can play movies in the back while you listen to music in the front. Or you can watch the movie in the front also. You can get a good head unit for 350-800 depending if you want navigation
