Newbie here. Like to know if anybody here has ever removed the crankshaft timing sensor and had to havethe engine reprogramed. Changed the timing chain cover and had to pull the sensor out. Now my engine runs rough and I have a Ignition knock when I am under a load. I would appreicate any info. Thanks.

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Can't help w/ your question but might help to list what year and engine your truck has.

Any codes (DTC's) set or is the SEL light on?

Check the knock sensor and make certain that it didn't come unplugged, it is located on the lower part of the block, passenger side just above and forward of the starter.
