Interior DomeLights LED
I prefer the dim OEM bulbs, they don't hurt my eyes when I open the driver door at 3:00AM to go home after a hard night of binge drinking.........................kidding of course.

Can anyone confirm that the 44mm is what fits the dome lights on a '07 Tahoe? For that matter, txguykev, what size did you use on the rear plate lights?

the difference between the putco and those festoon bulbs is night and day.dont buy those festton bulbs they suck....i got those putco kits in stock about a month ago and they flew off the shelf once i would show them to the customers. its like daylight inside your tahoe and the quality is awesome...i have 3 kits in stock right now if anyone is interested .they are a little pricey tho ,but i do have an alternate bulbs that are prettysimilar and there only $20 a piece

I would like to see anyone buy the hi-flux LED Festoons, and then post that they suck. You won't.....and you'll have $160 left in your pockets.
heres the difference:
LED's are afocus point type of light meaning they only light up to a certain type of angle. This will be with the festoons and the 44mm's or any type of LED including hi-flux.When you put a round style led blub with all of the bulbs pointing in the same degree of angle in the domelight, you have to try and rotate the bulb to getfull coverage from door to door. Thus decreasing the overall brightness of the coverage.
With the putco's, they are on a board which coverstheentire bezel of the interiorof the domelight. The also sit at a slight angle in the dome light giving youthe coverage from door to door. Im not promoting Putco nor do I work for them, im just relaying whatI notice when changing from one to the other. The putcos have the hi-flux leds in them.
Did I try the 44mm's yes
Did I try the Hi-flux's yes
Did I try the Putcos yes
MY Results
Festoon 9bulb, dimmer than the factory bulbs, with a directional focus of light. In order to get coverage with a book in my lap, I had to rotate the light to door thus decreasing the light near the console.
Hi-flux's , twice as bright as the9bulb but still with the same results as the coverage of the 9's
Putco's: Brightest bulb I've tried and have a good even amount of light in my lap, console, and the passengers lap. Its like daytime inside.
After I had the hi-flux's in the dome's and switched to the putco's everyone that's been in my truck noticed a difference immediately.
The festoon leds had 9bulbs,hi-flux had 6leds, Putcos 10.
These are my results I will say the festoon bulbs SUCK compared to the Putco's. Its my actual testing results. I have $125 of bulbs sitting in the putcos box to back up my claims.
$200 bucks for a custom fit, better performing lighting system, doesn't seem to be that bad of a deal. Hell seems to be about the same cost as HID's, which is a popular mod to increase lighting and a look. (I'm not trying to compare the interior lights to Hid's, and please dont come back and say stuff that HID's are a mod for saftey, trying to justify their cost.)
It does take a little time to get adjusted to the blue hue compared to the yellow that we all know. I have my lights for the cool factor as well as reading. At 3am when getting to the gym, looking at my workout logs in the truckare just simply easier to read. As before I had to bring my logbook inside with the festoons..........
