iPhone / iPod automatic play via USB on 2013 Tahoe
Hello--
On my 2013 Tahoe, when I plug in an iPhone 5 or iPod to the USB port in the console, the stereo system automatically switches the source to the iPhone / iPod and begins to play. This is especially annoying since I often just want to charge the device via the USB plug and NOT play music from it.
Is there any way to change this behavior?

I was able to speak with our infotainment team in regards to your concern. We do not recommend you use the USB cord as a charging device. Your mobile device charges better when plugged into the cigarette lighter or power outlet. It automatically changes to the iPod source because that is just for streaming music. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate.
