Hello! I am two months into ownership of '13 tahoe ltz (love it) & need help on playing iPhone 4S thru USB port.
When plugged in, I open the "music" app on the phone the system reads it & will play but the radio controls will not work. I really would like to be safe & use the steering wheel controls.

Any thoughts on this?

Not familiar w/ the 2014 iPhone connection but first thing I'd check would be the Owner's Manual. It should give you a complete rundown of how it works.
