Default LED Lighting For '08 Tahoe

Hello Guys,

I am looking to replace most of the lights in my Tahoe with LED lighting. I have a white Tahoe and i always liked Pure White lights more than the incandescent. I am looking to get them put in over my license plate, in all of my interior lighting, and my reverse lights. If anyone knows what bulbs i would need to get and a good place to get them it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Austin

I used these for the plate bulbs:

and these for the map/domes:

I haven't done any of the other lights yet.

I don't have any photos. I can never seem to get it right, the photos are always washed out or much more "blue" they they are in real life. Maybe I'll try again.

If you look at the page for the map/domes the example photo is in one of our trucks.

But inside it's a night and day difference. I've put LEDs in my past vehicles and it's always a great upgrade.

Welcome to the forum. Try the Sylvania website. They list most of the bulbs there.

hey there 73Shark, you used to help me out alot (more than i would care to admit) over at tahoeforum.com

I went and looked at sylvania however the bulbs that they list there are not found on practically any led shops site. For example the reverse is listed as 7441 when you lookup 7441 even in google NOTHING comes up. I was able to convert some of the other ones off of super brite LEDS conversion guide.

Thanks again everyone for help.

Austin

You can use a 7440 in place of a 7441.

Thanks snow jay i will take a look at that.

BTW when you did all of the dome lighting did you need to get three (rows) or six (2 per row) for all of the interior lighting.

Thanks

You need to get 6 if you order the ones I used above.
