Default Looking for 1996 Tahoe frame

I found a 96 Tahoe that the frame is rusting on pretty heavily. It won't pass inspection in virginia. Looking for a Tahoe frame or if there are any other frames that I can set the body on. Any help Is appreciated thanks in advance

Is it worth the time and expense to swap bodies on something 26 yrs old? or just buy another and part out or sell as is?

If the frame is that badly rusted there must also be significant rust on the body. You might not easily see it, but it is there.

Default 96 Tahoe frame..

Not sure where your located, the pick-n-pull (formerly U-pull-it) has endless possibilities for you. I'm in Oregon and I have a 1996 Tahoe, there are 4 yards in a 50 mile radius to me and everyone of them has 2 or more from 1995 to 1998 that are all compatible to mine. I have the 4door 4x4. Not sure if you have the 2 door or not but they have those as well. Hope that helps.

Default Is it worth it

As it's not my vehicle I can't make that call, I have a customer ask me to find it for him, if it's possible he said Noone has found one and I like a challenge. So is it worth it probably not except the vehicle for him is more than just that. So technically it's definitely worth it

I'm in Virginia, also i havent seen the vehicle not sure about specifics, just trying to see if any are even still out there, I know he had planned to bring it by this week, I should know more then. As for getting one I'm sure that the owner will not hesitate no matter where the frame is he will more than likely be willing to either go get it himself or have it shipped here. Also thank you for your time definitely a big help.

I'm sure it is and I'm sure that if he's willing to go through all of this to find a frame, he's willing to do the necessary and replace whatever needs to be replaced. i havent had a chance to look at the vehicle i should get the chance this week
