Tahoe & Suburban The power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.

Looking into purchasing used Tahoe, advice appreciated!

Wow you got it for a steal. Do you plan on getting the Silverado running?

As soon as I can afford it. It needs catalytic converters, intake manifold gasket, mold removed from the interior, and I need to resolve s paperwork problem with the title.
Then I will either keep the regular pickup bed and put on a little bit of a lift and bigger tires or put a utility bed on it.
I totally got ripped off on the Silverado it has 300k miles on it not 176k like it says. So resale value is poor.
I still think it's a great truck - just have to get the funds together to fix it and mod it.

My search for a vehicle has also ended. I bought an '03 Yukon Denali yesterday. It's in really good condition with 99k miles on it. This baby is loaded with every option you can get and was a one owner trade in at the same Chevy dealer that had sold it new. It has excellent and complete service records. The only negative I know of is that it has the 6.0 engine and I know those are pretty thirsty. But then again I know it's got the power to tow my car and trailer. I hope to get many years of service out of it.

You'll have to excuse the pictures being a bit spotty as it's starting to snow here. You'll also please overlook it's being dirty as I drove it 150 miles home through some crappy weather.

I've never owned an AWD vehicle before but judging by it's performance in the snow so far it's even better than my F150 and that ones no slouch.

@mmb617 - nice Denali! Interior looks very clean. And yeah, my 5.7 is thirsty too I don't consider the 6.0 a negative because of the power it produces.
