Default losing coolant NO leaks

04 Tahoe. I am losing coolant like crazy, but no leaks or smells. Flash back a year ago this month, I took it in to be checked at a GM dealer, pressure test was good, no leaks to be found and oil was okay. They must had put some stop coolant leak magic in there because it was had not lost any coolant for about 8 months, but now it is again. When I am adding the coolant, which seems to be about every 200 miles now even worse if driving on the highway at a speed of 55 MPH or more it is literally gone with in 50 miles. When it is in my garage and I am adding the coolant I hear it flowing somewhere and I can hear "gargling" noise like it is maybe going somewhere other then where it needs to go. It does not over heat, nothing is wet, nothing is on the garage floor and it cracks out good heat. Every now & again I will see a burst of white/blueish smoke come exploding out of the dual pipes upon start up but this does not happen very often. If I start it up in the mornings, you can smell fumes really bad. I fear it is a gasket, but again the GM place tells me they see no issues, clearly there is any issue and buying coolant seems to be a weekly item for me anymore. Please can someone give me a better explanation or advice if you have this issue

Welcome to the forum...
I'd check that oil again, if its even slightly milky in color that is where your coolant is going.

You can also check the underneath side of the oil fill cap for what looks like gray jelly. That is a good indication of water in the oil.

If the coolant is not going into the oil, then it has to be going through the combustion chamber and out the exhaust.

I was thinking it was going out the exhaust, the oil is just fine does not appear milky, no jelly like issues, and ago zero leaks nor is the passenger side floor wet. So it is more then likely a head gasket, When I am putting in the coolant you can hear it being sucked to a bottmless pit somewhere!

Default head gasket

head gasket gets my vote. you're losing it out the tail pipe.

compression test should tell you more. since a V8 would have two head gaskets.

Default Coolant

My 99 had a super small nick in the manifold gasket. Had same symptoms as you put a new one in and all good.

Thanks for the tip, not a super easy task to take on, but it goes to show that it doesn't have to be something catastrophic but a simple nick in a gasket .

Had the oil treatment flush done, put in new oil and no loss of coolant, which is weird. However when they took off the oil filter the oil was so thick it would not drain out it was hard like cement. Now having a louder ticking nose happening and even louder once the RPM goes up. The smell of "gas" fumes is worse then ever before but no bluish white smoke coming out like it did before. I have dual flow pipes and before it would smoke you out with the cloud of smoke. I am just at ends with it, now the 4wd is acting up! If its not 1 thing it is another.
