Default louder 4th gear

So on my 01 suburban 1500, when it shifts to 4th gear it seems the car gets louder. I cant tell if it is coming from the engine or the trans and its not incredibly loud. If i have the stereo on i cant really hear it. It runs and drives fine no hard shifting or jerking around, but it does worry me the truck has 82k on it and i dont really wanna get stranded somewhere. is this normal?
