Default low tire light stays on even though tire pressure is good

2008 Chevy Suburban 1500 low tire light stays on constantly. I can read every tire pressure from the display and all are good. I have rotated tires and have reprogrammed the tpms to the new locations but light stays on

I wont even replace mine when I need new tires. I have no need for a tire air-pressure warning system. I'll put a piece of tape over the light and keep driving.

It can be 2 things: 1) the Placard Pressure was changed or 2) the Key module needs to be re-flashed. Do you have access to a scan tool to pull any possible DTC's and/or pull the current Placard Pressure the vehicle thinks it needs to be set to?

One of your tire pressure sensors is bad and needs to be replaced, but it's not a must in order to drive the truck or what not. Only if you find the light on the dash annoying. I however have gotten use to mine bc I'm cheap lol.

The battery in the sensor is dead, they don't last forever and can't be replaced and a 2008 is 12 years old. Mine went dead at about 8 years so you done good. By new ones and replace then all when you replace tires.

Default Wrong assumption

Sensors are only THREE years old and all were replaced at the same time then .

Go to Auto Zone and have them do a scan for any codes and reset if any are found. They don't charge to do it.

I discussed this at length with another mechanic and we somewhat agree that apparently when I replaced ALL the sensors 3 years ago apparently those had sat upon a shelf somewhere for some time and one sensor has a weak battery .
I’ll just reorder and replace them all again . I’ll also ask the Manufacturer of my Diagnostic tool why there is no coverage for ‘07-‘13 Silverados or GMC Sierras .
Thanks for the reply
