Default Nav DVD??

Well I just purchased my new 2007 Tahoe LTZ today. Everything looks great and works great except for the fact that the dealer did not have a navi DVD to give me. I guess they don't have them and they are backordered at GM.

Are there any other ways to get one? You would think this would not be a problem.

I looking to take a trip to the beach in a few weeks and it would be nice to have one by then.

Suggestions?

Thanks for the information. I'm getting farther along here than I have with the dealer.

For those wanting to order a NAV disc, you can do so at the following URL:

https://www.gmnavdisc.com

I guess if you buy a new Chevy you get 2 free upgrades. I'll make sure the dealer orders my first one so that it does not count toward my 2 freebies. ;-)

All new GM vehicles that are ordered with the Navigation system include the mapping DVD software disk when they leave the factory, on occasion these DVD's get misplaced or borrowed before the end user takes delivery, it is the dealers responsibility to replace the DVD for you, don't let them put this on you, you are the customer.
The DVD's are not on back order.

I totally agree. I'm working with the dealer now to take care of it... and pronto. It didn't make sense. How hard is it to burn a NAV CD anyhow? I'll post any updates.
