Default Nav radio part# question

Hi everyone, brand new to the forum, new owner of a 09 LT2 Tahoe a couple days ago. I have been reading all the information on the Nav radios, but I have to ask one question. My dealer read my vin, and told me that if I wanted a Nav radio, I needed radio (GM part) #19169886. However, I came across a 09 Nav Radio #25894202, and the guy is selling it cheap. Someone told me this is a newer version, and it will work. But I dont want to buy it, and go through all the trouble of installing it, and it not working. Are there any service techs out there that can help me with this?? Thanks in advance.

Check your glove box, it will have the RPO codes for you vehicle. You need to find UQA and either it will have Y91, or not, but you need to see UQA. If you do not have UQA then you do not have factory amp in the vehicle. If you do not have the factory amp then you will need to add either an aftermarket amp, factory amp, or you will get very low audio, or no audio, when the dealer does the VIN relearn.
