Default Navigation Problems

I recently purchased an '07 Tahoe LTZ. The dealer installed the Nav disc before I brought it home. I was headed to Scottsdale, AZ last night and the Nav wouldn't give me the option of Scottsdale, AZ as a city. Therefore, I wasn't able to type in the address I needed. Do I need an upgrade? Anybody else had similar issues.

Welcome to the forum.

Did you have the right zone selected? The map is divided up into several zones. You have to select the zone that your destination is in. Hopefully the dealer gave you a Navigation Manual as it's separate from the owner's manual.

No, I didn't have the right zone selected. Thanks! Everything works now.
