New Issue (for me): 2007 Tahoe shifting into 4WD on it's own
For the 4th time since November '22, my Tahoe has randomly shifted itself into 4WD without any input from me. I'll hear this godawful whine and look over and see it's in 4WD Hi, even though I never touched it. I'm a munchkin so it's not likely I've bumped the selector with a knee or anything.
Is this just a matter of replacing the switch? I've checked the transfer case and it's full (of new fluid, I replaced it all back in December). What else should I check (or have my local shop check)? The 4WD system all works just fine (I have access to local farms to verify it's working ok).
