Default No more leaks but shifting woes

Hey Guys, I just gave my 2001 Suburban K1500 ( 305kmiles) some love and dealt with a nagging rear main leak had the Transfer and Transmission out ( along with everything else. Just buttoned her back up and started up nicely, but on the test drive:
1. wont shift out of first ( The shift cable seems lined up OK, goes into reverse and drive with no issue)
2. ABS and Brake lights came on after a few minutes. .

Ill start debugging tomorrow but had a few questions - I heated the "glued in " connectors on the transmission to take them apart, and to reinstall, I simply heated them again and plugged them in. Is that the right path?
On the transfer case ( NP 246) I had three identical connectors ( small 2 prong) and not sure if I have them in the right spot. They all fit each other.

Any tips would be much appreciated - Thanks!
