1990 w/ 191,000 miles just started this. When you put it in drive it really jerks hard. Then you have to go about 30-35 before it will shift into 2nd, big jerk and a little bark from tires of course and will shift ok into drive but does not like to go to OD. I checked the cable on the throttle body. It looks ok. A guy at work mentioned it. Also does the transfer case really have transmission fluid in it???? Can you really just buy a rebuild kit for 80$. NEVER MIND I FIGURED IT OUT AND NOW IT DRIVES LIKE A DREAM. HA HA HA HA HA

well im glad to here you got her running and yes you can buy a rebuild kit for 80-100, i paid 90 for kine and rebuilt it myself and it runs perfect
