Default No Volume?

For some reason my ipod still shows on the display that its playing but their is no volume. The volume and all other functions work fine with everything else. My ipod is connected using the usb connector in the glove box. I have tried more than one ipod and its the same problem no volume.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Jay

Which Firmware version is your iPod running? If it is running 3.1.2 or 4.1, please update the device Firmware to version 4.2. This may resolve the audio problem.

Please keep us posted.
