I am getting a code for the front left o2 sensor on my '02 Tahoe. I know it's a simple fix and easy to get to so fixing it shouldn't be a problem. The question I have for y'all is do y'all know where I might be able to get the sensor for less than the $70.00 that the parts stores want for them? Or is there a way to bypass these sensors without doing long term damage?

 

I dont think there is a way to bypass them. And if you do you mpg will go down. The best place to find them for cheap is online just search for them.

 

You can bypass the rear sensors with a custom PCM tune without any problems. Maybe just swap one of your rear sensors with the problematic front one and then bypass the rear ones.
