Oil pressure low alarm
I just don't get why all of these oil pressure sensors even need to have a screen. Back in the day, you dropped your oil and filter every 3000 miles or less under heavy duty service involving dust. You just chucked out the air fiiter the same and washed out the PCV valve and put it all back in.place. These newer vehicles are way over-complicated
to me. Must be my age catching up with me I suppose.

When my oldest daughter had a Mazda CX-7, was incredibly difficult to replace a headlight bulb, first the inner fender needed to come out, and then some weird clip arrangement. Why couldn't they just use a push and turn arrangement like on other halogen bulbs???
Only use Wix, Purolator, or ACDelco profession grade Oil filters. Frams are horrible filters unless you pay for the top teir ones. which I am told are okay. Royal Purlpe is also a great filter but pricey.. Napa Gold are made by Wix.
I dont disagree with you MMJ. I just looked at the oil pressure sender screen and it much larger then I thought it would be. Defiantly need to be cleaned or replaced,.
I just replaced the oil pressure sender on my 2014 Yukon 6.2 liter 8 days ago, see https://chevroletforum.com/forum/tah...-issue-115193/
These senders go bad all the time (4 times on the 5 GM SUVs we've had).
