So, I let my on star run out...

now I have a red, sometimes green, sometimes red light on my rear view mirror...

does this mean anything or just that I no longer have OnStar?

I'll probably be letting mine go here come March, I renewed it 2x from my first year.
Used it 1x a year and it was always to rescue or call for assistance for somebody else....
I do give it credit as when we were in Yellowstone in June of this year, our cell phones would not get signal, I was able to connect to OnStar to get them to unlock someone else's vehicle when they locked the keys in there rental that also had OnStar...
If you pay for the year in advance and hem and haw about it they will also give an additional 3mo (free) so it was running me about $11 or so a month.

I'll let you know about the lite in a few days as mine will run out too.

XM radio is the same way. If you threaten to cancel, you can eventually get the 1 year promo rate which is about half off.

Sabrtoothsqrl: did you ever get your door panel squeak/rattle fixed? I remember doing a search a while back and you said you had some problems.

I have a new '11 Tahoe and I'm getting a little bit of a squeak in the door panels when I'm going over bumps and on rough roads.

Default stuffs

I did lifetime XM at $400.00... never another bill or issue... I've had the truck now 2 yrs, in another 2 i break even, and I plan to keep it for at least 10-12

as for the door, no, i gave up... i turned the radio up and came to the realization that I cant expect BMW or Honda or Toyota perfection from a large american SUV.

I did see a BMW X5 4.8 in black today on the way to work... maybe in a few years...

SabrToothSqrl Have you tried the silicone or krytox lube on the weather striping?
