OK, just pulled this code yesterday and see that its for the knock sensor bank 2. the knock sensors are both on top of the intake manifold(5.3ltr), one in front and one in rear.

Question: does anyone know if the bank#2 sensor is the front or rear?

Also, I have not yet looked at the disassembly process to get to these sensors, or if any special tools or tricks are required. Anyone with experience give me a heads up on anything to watch out for?

yes indeed, that is helpful. I can look at the engine surroundings there to determine which is front/rear. I believe it will be the rear sensor.

The arrow in the picture is refrence tot he front of the engine
