painted/chrome side mirrors?
I just purchased an '07 LTZ with chrome uppers on side mirrors. I would like to change them to the painted uppers with chrome lowers, like the Esky's run and some of you guys have. Do I have to remove the mirrors and have painted, or it is a cover (other than the chrome one) that I must have painted. Then the chrome bottoms, are they factory or aftermarket. . . ? Thanks, [:-]

You can buy the painted uppers with factory paint on Ebay etc. The chrome lowers are also on there.you remove the uppers and switch them out. You may be able to get some of the difference back by selling your chrome tops.
