Default Passenger Folding Mirror...won't fold

Hello

Just bought a 2007 Tahoe.
It comes with the folding mirrors option.

The passenger side mirror won't fold, however. I can hear the motor making sounds, but no folding.

I removed the mirror housing/assembly to see if there's something blocking the motor from doing its job. But it's very hard to disassemble the housing to get to where the folding motor is.

Are there any schematics or write ups on how to disassemble these side mirror housings?

Thanks.

PJ

Have you tried folding manually to see if it's stuck?

tried to fold it in manually, it will fold in and this was a DL3 upgrade so i'm thinking the entire mirror may be bad.
