2002 Chevy Tahoe-- I recently put aftermarket LED tail lights into my truck. After installing them the brake lights wouldnt turn on along with the parking lights. The turning signals and reverse lights worked fine. Checked the fuses and there all good. Seems to be that the wires arent getting any power. Can anyone please help!

 

if the harness from the led's plug into the sockets of the removed bulbs, remove the plug and close the gap between the prongs in the factory socket. The prongs are probably not touching the studs on the leds plug. make sure the truck and all lights are off.

 

this happened to me when I first put my LED tails in. All I had to do was flip over the connecting plug and shazam! let there be light. This also happened on one of my led reverse lights, same resolve.

 

Thanks guys for your comments. I figured it out.. It was just something stupid.. FUSE!.. I Couldnt believe the third brake light was on a seperate fuse than the taillights themselves and we were looking right past that fuse due to it being right near the spares.
