Default Quick ?: About Resetting Oil Setting

Hey Guys,
Just a quick question, I just changed my oil and filter on the 200y Tahoe....I searched the forum and the manual and couldn't find how to reset the display back to 100% Oil Remaining....I know its probably easy but if someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it....I went to the Oil Remaining screen and tried to push and hold reset but nothing.
Thank you all, have a great day.
Jay

Here's what the 2007 Owner's Manual (from myGMlink.com) says:
How to Reset the Engine Oil Life
System
The Engine Oil Life System calculates when to
change your engine oil and filter based on vehicle
use. Anytime your oil is changed, reset the
system so it can calculate when the next oil
change is required. If a situation occurs where you
change your oil prior to a CHANGE ENGINE
OIL SOON message coming on, reset the system.
Always reset the engine oil life to 100% after
every oil change. It will not reset itself. To reset
the Engine Oil Life System, do the following:
1. Display the OIL LIFE REMAINING on the DIC.
2. Press and hold the SET/RESET button on
the DIC, or the trip odometer reset stem if
your vehicle does not have DIC buttons,
for more than five seconds. The oil life will
change to 100%.
If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message
comes back on when you start your vehicle, the
Engine Oil Life System has not reset. Repeat
the procedure.

You didn't say what year (200y) so another method on older GM vehicles was to get the oil status on the DIC and then turn the key to ACC position and press and release the accelerator 4 times to reset.

Thank you shark, my finger must have slipped when entering the year I have a 2007. I tried what was above, but I will try again.
Thank you for the reference.
