Radio Harness weirdness
Hi guys,
I just spliced in a factory radio harness plug 'cos the PO had cut the original one. I matched up all the wires color for color but for some reason the mid door speakers don't come on. They only come on if u attach the Pink (Amplifier Relay Signal? Power Antenna?) wire to ANY of the Speaker wires (Front or Rear, Left or Right. Pos or Neg). This somehow solves the mid door speakers not coming on but when you start the engine it will cut out sound altogether until you unhook the pink. At which point you can hook it back up and the door speakers will be on again.
I don't understand. I thought the mid door speakers were tied in with the front door speakers (lt green dk green, Tan and gray) Also, why would attaching the Pink wire make the mid doors come on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
