Default Radio Reception HELP!!

New to this forum and Tahoe. I have an 04, and the radio reception is terrible at best. everything else works great but I can't even pick up a station 10 miles away, one that I get in my other truck. Anyone else with this problem? Anyone know what I might be doing wrong. I do get 2 stations, but that's weak too. XM is not activated yet, but I do want to be able to listen to some local stations as well when I do activate it.

Have you taken the radio out? Is the antenna connected to the back of the radio?

That was my first thought. I sounds like the antenna cable is unhooked. I'm not sure how many connections there are in your truck but start at the radio.
