Default FM radio reception 07 Yukon XL

Read 'Radio fading in and out'. Does this fix apply to my 07 Yukon? I live in Toronto, and we do have a few FM stations here. As compared to my 03 Venture, FM reception is lousy in Yukon. I just figured it's because of antenna in glass. I don't even listen to the radio anymore I'm so disgusted with it. I have the XM DVD CD BOSE unit. I thought that I had stepped up when I got into Yukon XL SLT from Venture, but the radio is disappointing to say the least. Venture radio reception was waaaaaaaaay better. How can I make it better in my Yukon?

The radio reception should be pretty good, have the dealer reference GM Document ID # 1973305
Some vehicles were built with the coax connector (under the top dash panel) not fully seated.

Thanks ZX. I read that item previously, and that's what I wanted to know was whether it applied to the 07. I'll get it looked into.
