Rained here pretty hard and my 2007 Tahoe seems to have water in rear door.

The door behind the driver seemed to have water sloshing around in it for half the day today before finally apparently draining out. Nothing seems to be missing to have allowed the water in but... The electric window has stopped. What's involved in fixing/checking the window?
Thanks...

Check the rubber wipers that run across the bottom of the window. Make sure it is not cracked or has part of it missing. You can try and fix the electric window, but if you don't fix the leak first, it will happen again.

Not sure about your year. Look at the fuse box covers, they are marked as to what each fuse is for. If the motor filled with water, it was damaged and might need to be replaced.

If you have changed the fuse, it may be the motor (as oldchevy stated). You may want to have it inspected. If you need assistance with the fuses, please refer to page 557 of the owner's manual. For your convenience, a digital copy of the manual is available at: http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/ow...olet-Tahoe.pdf

Believe it or else, the door to window seals aren't absolutely waterproof, that's why doors have drain holes on the bottom. Since you had water sloshing inside, your drain is obviously clogged with crud. Open the door, lay on the ground, look up at the underside of the door, and clean the drain holes/slots with a piece of wire or tiny screwdriver. Then run water down inside the door to give it a final flush out cycle if desired.
