Tahoe & SuburbanThe power, space, and brutal towing ability make the Tahoe and its longer sibling, the Suburban, arguably the best full size SUV's on the market today.
I have the fun of a rear ac leak right above the right rear wheel. Just out of curosity, and I cant find any feedback except the website but has anyone tried the aftermarket rubber rear AC lines. Living in Vermont and dealing with nasty salt brine replacing a corroded aluminum line with a new one seems like a poor use of money and this repair appears to be very expensive. The rubber seems like an interesting idea, but just curious if anyone has tried them or had experience positive or negative.
seems like a great idea.
the is an ac repair kit. it consists of aluminum tubing that is sectioned and crimped (with a special tool) into the existing lines. cost of this repair is comparable to the hose in the repair you have posted.
I just pulled the hoses out of my 92. They are not the greatest quality. Barely better than heater hoses.. if you know anyone who works around heavy equipment, try to score some hydraulic hose. Never have to deal with hose problems again. You have 2 about 17 ft long and old too. I use hydraulic hose for any replacement. My booster hose is rated for 3500lbs 😁
