Post Rear Automatic Lift Gate Not Working

I have a 20216 Chevy Suburban LTZ. A few months ago I had to get my rear passenger side tire fixed, so used my spare tire temporarily. When the spare tire was removed from underneath the rear of the truck, my rear automatic liftgate stopped working. When the spare tire was returned back into place underneath that rear of truck a few days later, the automatic liftgate started working again, but only for a couple days, then stopped working again. It's been a few months, and the automatic liftgate has worked a couple times, but for a majority of the time, I have to open and close the liftgate manually. Has anyone experienced this issue? Could it be directly related to removing my spare tire? Any troubleshooting I might be able to try? Maybe resetting a module, checking for a blown fuse, or something that fell out of place or needs to be tightened? I want to troubleshoot before resorting to replacing any parts. Thanks!

Welcome from Florida. It sounds like when you removed the spare tire you moved or loosened a connector or wire harness near the area. I would back track and check all the wiring near the spare tire.
