Default Rear DVD

I'm taking a long road trip soon with the family.Does anyone have anidea of what a dealer normally charges for a Rear DVD system installed? Thanks

Its not going to be cheap. I would estimate at least $2000. I would look into aftermarket

You were right on the money, local dealer quoted me $2100 for the DVD in the headrests with wireless headphones.

Might check ebay. Also you can pick up a couple of handhelds with bigger screens for less than that. Or a laptop. Don't know how old the users are tho. Good luck on your trip. I know mine paid for itself the first time we took some of the grandkids on a trip.

I picked up the same one the dealer offered for $2100 off ebay for $850 and installed myself (with help from this forum) in about an hour. Just more convenient than the portabledvd playerwe had.

I have seen the overhead units on ebay for around 150. I dont know if that incldued the bracket. You would then need the head unit which can run around 150 on ebay as well for the cd/dvd HU.
