Default Rear DVD issue

First, I just joined up this forum after recently selling my Dodge Ram and buying an 05 Suburban Z71 package. So I am a newbie here. But I belong(ed) to similar forums and have found them to be very helpful and informative. I did search the forums prior to starting this thread but found nothing that could help me. The rear DVD player is acting up. It plays the DVDs- you can hear it- but there is no picture- the screen is now black and I have tried reading the manual, messed with all the buttons, remote, etc. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? Has anyone ever taken their DVD unit apart- is it a big deal? Or am I better off having the dealer deal with it- I have an extended warranty and it will be covered. Im thinking it might be something real simple- maybe a wire connecting the DVD screen to the player broke loose. Thanks for any useful info.

While it might be something simple like a loose/broken wire, it could also be a busted display. I'd use the warranty.

Default Different Issue

I have an 04 with the rear DVD system. 1 day it just wont turn on. I have tried to find the associated fuse but I'm not sure if I checked the correct one. Everything else seems to be working okay. My kids thank you in advance for your help!!
