Default Rear radio controls part #?

I purchased a 2001 Chevy Suburban 2500 LS, with the stock front radio/cd and tape deck below. It came with the rear radio controls missing, but the wire harness is in the center console (just removed prior to purchase). The rear speakers don't work now (though the subwoofer does). I need to get the rear speakers working and plan on purchasing a replacement rear radio controller (in hopes the speakers will work afterward).

I'd rather have the rear radio controller installed, since it will fill the gap in the rear of the center console. I'm just not sure if a similar rear radio controller from a 2000 Chevy Venture (or possibly another one from a 2002 Escalade) will both work.

The front view & buttons are identical. The rear both appear to have the 16 pin connector (though the Escalade is not as obvious).

As seen in the pictures
The 2000 Chevy Venture model number is: 09361921
The 2002 Escalade model number is: 09356849

I need to know if both of these will work or just one (photo attached). Does anyone know?

Thanks so much!

This auction seems to indicate that the same part # for the previous image will work for a 2001 Suburban. Just wondering if anyone knows or a good place to check/ask? Will a dealer tell you if a certain model # on a part will work for your particular vehicle?

Default It worked

Plugged in the rear radio control module into the back of the center console and it allowed my 4 rear speakers to work for the first time for me (new owner). Yay!
