do u mean the python 990? if so, they are on back order right now i'm waiting to get more in, but they go for 389.99 plus 3.5% sales tax. there are also some additional parts u will need depending on what options u want to go wit the alarm. this was by far the most difficult vehicle i have ever installed a remote start and alarm on.

Is that the price of just the kit for the 990? I have been watching the Viper 5900 on ebay and they are going to around 245-269. The Clifford 50.5x is going for around 245. Of course these are just for they systems no installation obviously.

 

i dont know what u mean by kit? the alarm itself is that much. i dont believe the clifford has the sst technology like the python and viper.

 

The clifford is actually DEI's number one unit. It is supposed to be better than the viper, and python is actually below both of them. Here they are on ebay.

i was lookin on dei's website and it wasnt there yet, but u are right they do offer a sst remstart/alarm. it is suppose to be better but its not....they are all the same until u start getting in to the clifford matrix series. if u look at the brains and the wires they are all the same and plug into all the same places, the only real difference is the remotes different colors...
