I just bought a 2011 Suburban LT and the key fob has a remote start button it and the menu in the dash display has Remote Start On/Off... but the remote start doesn't work. What's missing???

If you'd like, we can check your VIN to see if you have the remote start function. Some vehicles have the remote start ready feature, which allows for the dealer to add the manufacturer's remote vehicle start feature. If you'd like for us to double check this for you, just PM us your VIN.

Thanks, no from a used car dealer.

 

Any warranty?

 

Remainder of the factory... its a 2011 with 9391 miles when I bought it... has 16 months or 26,000 miles left!

 

Just curious are you doing it correctly? You have to push the lock button on the remote and then hold the re-mote start button.

 

i do believe that i tried that.. but i will do it again!

 

Should be covered by the mfg warranty in any case.
