Default replacing rear license plate bulb in 1995 chevy tahoe

Hi!

I have a 1995 tahoe and I need specific instructions on how to replace a bulb by the rear license plate...I cannot figure it out! If there are any images anywhere, that would be great.

Thanks so much in advance!!!

Assuming the '95 is similar to the '99, you can lay under the rear bumper, slide back and notice the bulb assembly is held into the back of the bumper with a C-shaped retaining clip...you can pull down on this and then push the assembly out through the hole towards the back of the bumper. Or just twist the light bulb slightly clockwise and the bulb/wires should back out of the assembly, leaving the wires hanging down with enough space to extract the bulb (carefully). Hope that helps!
